Frank was a steam punk junkie. He made new steam punk objects all the time, and studied old steam punk literature like Jules Verne and other authors to improve his look and feel. He relied heavily on tools that use electricity and while he tried to get away from them he couldn't - and grew to hate the look of the face on electric plugs, mocking him. His day job was repairing mufflers on high-end German cars, which kept him busy. He grew so obsessed with the idea of steam that he would do anything he could to be near steam, or water - and was an avid kayak enthusiast. One early morning when he was kayaking to a bridge on a local river he paused, looked ahead of him and behind him, and dove into the cold water. A passing fisherman thought he was drowning and jumped in to save him, but he was so old he had a heart attack in the water. Before he died Frank got to know him enough that he made him a steam punk coffin for his funeral.
