Once upon a time, a handsome prince found himself trapped in the body of a frog. He bemoaned his fate to his love who stood by him despite the less than desirable circumstances.

They had been warned by the wizened old woman to beware the water trap set by the wicked witch. Being young and foolish, they tempted fate and bought a ticket to ride the gondola through the tunnel of love.

Determined to seal the fate of the young lovers, the witch tempted the princess with lush, ripe apples as they rode the waves of romance. Being told from the time she was a young child that "an apple a day will keep the doctor away", the princess consumed an apple.

Now the two star-crossed lovers live out their days by the moat surrounding the castle. She as a turtle; he as a frog.

They lived happily ever after until the chef decided to serve turtle soup accompanied by frogs legs for dinner!
