John hated riding in elevators. Today, he had to ride up 100 floors and hoped he would survive. The corner was the only "safe" spot for him. He always worried about getting stuck, so he tried to let his mind wander.
He remembered passing by a blue garage door that morning with a set of numbers and wondered what they were for. Then, that made him think of his friend, Waldo, who always wore a shirt with a big "W" on it. Waldo loved fluffy little yappy dogs. You know, the kind that you could punt-kick across a football field. John preferred big dogs that would scare off bad guys.
"Oh, I made it to my floor." Relief!
