Ever since I was little, I have loved waking up early. A natural-born early bird, I wake up sometimes hours before the rest of the city. At times, I dislike this habit because a late night always means very few hours of sleep, but it's worth it. I find a single light on amongst houses and houses of darkness to be so calming and peaceful. Going for a walk at this time is breathtaking as well. Flowers and puddles in the street have a certain magic about them at the crack of dawn. This certain magic is like a secret they are trying to keep from the daytime, a secret I love knowing. Eventually, however, the sun rises above the horizon, and declaring I must return home after my dreamy wander through the beautifully lonely morning.
