One day, I was walking through the woods with my dog. We heard a shuffle at our feet, and my dog had found a little water snake. I picked it up and brought it to a nearby pond to let it free. Once it was let free, we walked to an outlet and saw my car getting taken away! I was going to chase after the tow truck when my dog ran away. He was not on a leash, though there was a sign that specifically said all pets must be on a leash on this trail. I found my dog near the pond we passed earlier, and he was smelling a dead mouse. I put my dog on a leash and I walked home slowly, sad that I had to somehow get my car back.
