I remember as it was yesterday. The sun was shining high in the sky and the mood was just fantastic. Everything you need for a good road trip. My friends and I finally stacked our bags and photo cameras into the car and got going. Our destination laid far ahead, so we had to make a stop for refreshments. We stopped at a local shop and bought all kinds of sweets we could find. I was looking forward for this trip so it did not take long till we reached our first object. I took out my camera and frightened, there was no battery in it! I had left it at home in a charger! If only I had checked it before I left. It seemed that the whole trip is ruined. Neither Sara, nor Peter had the spare one. We decided that there is no point to turn back, but luckily Mark found his extra battery so I gladly took it and was able to take some photos. After some photo shooting we got back to the car and continued our journey. It was after midday when we finally reached the mountains. Everyone was very excited to see the mountains for the first time. Not to waste any more time we spread out for photo shooting. It was about time when we all get back to the car. The sky was not only getting darker, but also the rain was beginning to pour. We packed our stuff and went home. This trip may sound ordinary, but it was worth waiting.
