about this story

He wasn't the brightest monkey. No, he couldn't tie knots in peoples shoe laces like Adolf the Ape. He was, however, spontaneous and loved adventure. He didn't fear the unknown, he welcomed it. So, that day so long ago, he didn't hesitate to walk up the dark and daunting Staircase of Blues. He climbed, and not a single Nora or Norbert protested, for no one went near the Staircase of Blues.

Up, up, up he climbed; beyond the Forest of Dean, beneath the Bridge of Doom. He climbed until the last step crumbled beneath his back paw. He stood tall in amazement, for he had never seen such beauty; hills taller the Staircase of Blues awaited him, and again he did not hesitate to proceed, but as his paws reached the brush, his stomach ached with great need. His pace slowed. His head throbbed. His eyes became blurry. He needed food.

As his energy dripped its last drop, he sat down in the leaves, closed his eyes, and leaned against a tree trunk. But it was not a tree trunk, it was the Totem of Tuctron. The totem slid to the side, and his small, fury body barrel rolled beneath the surface. He yelped, but noone was near the Totem of Tuctron. Not a Nora or Norbert was there to protest as he fell further and further towards the core.

Skip forward 6400 kilomtres, and *SPLAT!* Cheese. Dinner was served.
