about this story

Stuck in a rut, it was time to move. Had I been in one place too long or was I just overwhelmed but the world around me. Either way, it was time to freshen my outlook on life. I looked to find the best method to get me moving. Something that wouldn't get stuck in the same figurative rut I felt myself lying in. Then I found it, yellow tall, and just wanting to smell the fresh air.
I started simple, finding an open field. The green grass and fresh air filled my lungs with the beauty of the world. the peace was there, but not the excitement I had hoped for. so it was time to get rolling again.
I found a path to the beach. The air was lively, the sound of the waves moved the soul and it still brought peace to my soul. But it seemed to be a place for everyone, I wanted a space all my own.
I moved upward, to the heights of the mountains. Still The Air filled my lungs and the wind pushed on me. My ears listened for the rustle of the wildlife. It rejuvenated my soul, but it didn't quench my hunger.
I came to the forest but my jeep wouldn't fit. The trees were too close together. It was then that I thought to get out and walk on my own. Put my feet on the floor of the forest. I felt the the earth under my feet and I felt alive. This was where I wanted to be.
