about this story

Facilitating at Coach Summits opens doors for creativity and learning. Brandon and I decided to join forces to work on a session about how to vet and return EQuIP Reviews.

We met at Brandon's house, pretty early in the process, and talked through our ideas and the outcomes given to us from the leadership team. We talked about our own experiences and how we wanted to use these to guide the work we asked coaches to do during this time.

When it came time to present, I reviewed our plan and hoped I remembered everything we'd talked about. The presentation and work time went well. We had one moment where I felt the presentation was running away from us, fast, on a motorcycle, but we were able to pull it back into focus and get back on track.

As regions worked on their own, there was time for learning and growing...even when it was difficult and sometimes frustrating.

Once done, I felt good about what we had done, but I still came away with lots of ideas for how it could have gone differently. Our feedback was positive, but our coaching friends are kind. :)
