about this story

Cecilia woke to a knock on her window. Her routines were always the same, so she wasn't used to this. What was that noise? Out of curiosity, Cecilia walked toward her window. Cecilia was very organized, so it was easy to spot the piece of paper resting on her windowsill. All that noise and only a piece of paper? She peered at its contents, and read "If you want to know the truth, come find us. Hurry before they find you". Underneath, an address was inscribed. Know the truth? About what? And who's going to find me? Cecilia said to herself. Usually she'd be eating breakfast by now, but a small piece of her was telling her to go to this address. She had her bike parked outside pf her apartment building. Slipping the letter into her pocket, she raced towards her motorcycle. She didn't know where she was headed, but she drove around for a bit until she found her location. It was a run down house, windows broken and roof caving in, with an iron fence around it. She took no time dismounting her motorcycle. Whoever 'they' were, she didn't want to waste anytime if they were on the hunt for her. She quickly went inside. The interior matched the exterior. Broken down. Her instinct told her to go downstairs. She turned a corner and stopped. What she saw was eery. It was a painting of a gray sky, attached to a door. And unlike the rest of the house, it looked brand new. This made her shiver. She wanted to know whatever this truth was. So, she opened the handle. Cecilia's vision went black. Opening her eyes she realized she awoke in her bedroom. On her lap sat a letter. She opened it and read "You thought you could get away that easily?" She heard a noise coming from the window. They had found her.
