about this story

Puppy Bruce was always in the house alone. His owners who were a dad and little girl, were always away on vacation and once in a while their next door neighbor would come in just to refill the dog bowl for him to eat and drink. As he looks out the front bay window, he notices that the streets are empty and wonders why everyone was so antisocial. He wonders why everything is so different now than it was before. Before, he would always see people outside mingling especially the three men. He wonders what happened to the people in front of the Slug cafe? It used to be so loud inside and out of there filled with people and good music. Then he remembers his owners and why they seemed so happy but yet not with him.
