My brother went on a vision quest at a ceremony. Other members of the tribe danced with him, and, the elder watched closely. Dancing and mental strength are needed to trap a vison in one's memory. He couldn't see a vision, everything was a blurr because it was his first time. Sometimes it takes a long time for visions to come.
