about this story

I walked into the kitchen and out the corner of my eye I saw that someone had left the peanut butter out on the counter with half eaten celery left right in it! The same thing happened last Christmas when Mom left the milk out after making cookies but did she get in trouble? No, of course not! I would have got yelled at if I would have done that. I’m tired of my parents being above the law. I decided I was going to leave it there and go outside. Let them put it away themselves. I went out on my front porch and my cat, Susie, was sitting there. She loves sitting outside in the sun, there have been many days I have sat out with her all day long. But I really didn’t want to sit down right now; I had a lot on my mind and felt like I should take a walk. I walk down the deserted street; I have never seen it so empty. It looked like I feel inside. So I just keep walking with no direction in my step. I go wherever my feet carry me. I just keep walking. As I was walking and my mind started to clear and everything started to form around me and I realized I wasn’t walking down an empty street by myself... I was walking down a busy street but I was the one who was deserted and empty. If all you see is yourself you can never move on and your life will be dull and lonely.
