One chilly winter morning I scraped the frost from my car and headed off to school.

It seemed like any other day with me teaching and no one listening. An abrupt knock came at the door and then the door swung open. Two police officers came into the room and announced, "You are under arrest for boring your students. You have the right to remain...." They put me in handcuffs and took me out of the room.

Outside of the school a police motorcycle escort guided us to the police station where I was booked, tried, and sentenced all in about 10 minutes.

They stuffed me into an odd little car and then sped down the road to a forbidding looking prison. I was guarded by a monster that looked like it was from another world.

This was certainly not a normal day!
