about this story

As I was traveling through an ancient city, I met an elderly women who asked for my help. She directed me down a lonely street, where even the trees seemed to have lost their way. I found the address the old women had given me. I entered the front door and made my way to the library. There I found the book with the yellow ribbon she had so clearly described. I withdrew it from the shelf and tucked it under my arm. I made my way along the iron fence to the quiet yard. I open the book to page 12. There I found a photo of the women. She was far younger, but it was unmistakably her. I read the brief description of her life. She had died 100 years before our meeting.
