Five Card Story: If You Were Me For A Day

What if you were me for a day? If I just suddenly disappeared? I would wake up in the morning and walk down the old dirt road in the spring humidity, making your way to the bus. But you about a quarter of a mile before you got there, you would take the hidden path beneath the willow trees, crossing across the fresh green grass, inspecting the unique leafs that have fell form the trees. I would make my way to the rocky dirt path leading deep through the woods, sloshing through the mudding earth, before I finally came out 5 minutes away from school. I then go and sit through all my classes, staring at the empty desk of students that surely had skipped, wishing I didn't have to be here right now. When school was over, I would walk down the block through town, past the flower shop, collecting the beautiful same white flower that the shop owner now gave me everyday. I would put it behind my ear and continue down the street, to the park, where there, I would sit and watch the mimes while I daydreamed of a better place.
