Five Card Story: Panic at the disco

Late one night, Marisa went out to a party at the disco. She was really excited because she was going to meet the boy she liked there. Marisa arrived to the disco and she suddenly freaked out because Eric, the boy, was looking at her, smiling. Her heart melt, but when she decided to go and talk to him she realized he had a monkey on his back! She asked him about it, worried, and he told her "It's my pet, his name is Nine and he eats raspberries. Do you want to hold him?"
Marisa was shocked and she fell to the ground. Next morning she woke up in a hospital bed. Desperate she picked up the phone to call her mother. "Mum, ..., I'm... at the hospital... mum?... where are you... I can't hear you..."
"I'm taking part in a demonstration!" said her mother.
That was the weirdest experience in her entire life.
