We were friends but one of us wasn't happy. She had _issues_, or that's what her mother said, anyway. I just knew she wasn't the same. They took her to seminars and they made her listen to gurus. I wondered if it'd be helpful but waited. In the spring, things began to look hopeful. The _issues_ were waning, and she was beginning to improve. I look forward to the summer.
