It all started chasing tail. Bunny tail to be exact. My dad and I used to spend our Sunday afternoons driving around looking for the cute critters, but neither of us saw what happened coming. Fast forward two years, and now my only contact with him is by phone. The witness protection program has made it impossible for us to meet in person anymore. If I could meet him in person, I’d tell him all about my life, how I beat my drinking problems (no more “bottoms up”), my accomplishments (you can now address the U.S. Navy’s latest recruit as “sir” and his new grandson - whom I’ve named “Bunny” in his honour.
