The scorching sun beat down on the hot cracked ground.My skin prickled as I tugged at my heavy luggage.Beads of perspiration rolled down my cheeks and the back of my shirt clung to my back.Panting,I heaved the luggage into the car and I sat down on the seat,"Phew.Let's go."My father flashed a grin at me and said,"To echo canyon park then."My father and mother chatted as we went off to echo canyon park.We were going there for a trip for the holidays and I was in high spirits.
