Justice is blind; that's what she told me the day she left to do what she said had to be done. She said she felt as if she has been looking at life through a rear-view mirror; never a part of it, always just a step behind. So she decided to step up, take a stand, take action, DO SOMETHING! The experience was like a cannon blast, she said. It woke up something in her and while she felt exhilarated, she also felt frightened, as if she had opened a Pandora's box. Years afterwards she told me "Freedom is great. But there's a dangerous element, too. You need to figure out what needs to be said, and what is better off left unspoken."
