Summary

Jeffory the squirrel needed to collect nuts to prepare for hibernation. He started in the city in the local park. But, Jeffory checked every tree, every branch in the park! He couldn't find any nuts! He raced out into the country side and check all of the trees there. Nothing! Jeffory relized that leaves were changing and flowers were wilting. He saw a little old farm house. He ran to it. But luckily, he didn't even have to climb a tree. The owner of the house had a bucket of nut on the back porch. Jeffory had a wonder winter hibernating now that he was nice and fat.
