Five Card Story: Furry Friend

Jamie was very excited about visiting the aquarium with his grandfather. Jamie had many books about sea life and knew the names of many fish and sea creatures. And now his grandfather was flying all the way from New York City to visit and promised to spend the day at the aquarium with him.
Finally, the day came and Jamie and his grandfather headed to the City Aquarium. They spent hours looking at all the different fish, big and small. They were amazed by all the beautiful colors of fish and coral and sea plants. It was like a garden under the sea.
After awhile, Jamie's grandfather asked, "If you could have any creature from the aquarium to take home, which would want?"
Jamie thought that was a strange question but he thought about it and finally answered, "A sea urchin."
"Well, that's an interesting choice. Can I ask why?"
"They seem so lonely, just kind of wandering along the ocean floor," explained Jamie.
"Why don't you go look in the gift shop for something you like", suggested Jamie's grandfather.
Jamie looked around at books and t-shirts and stuffed penguins and suddenly he saw his grandfather by the exit, waving at Jamie.
"Come on. Let's go," he whispered.
"But, I just..."
"Now! Hurry!"
Jamie's grandfather was all wet and Jamie didn't know what to think. He just ran after his grandfather as they made their way back to the car. Jamie's grandfather started the car and they raced out of the parking lot.
"What's going on, Grandpa?" Jamie asked.
"Well, I feel really bad that I only get to see you once a year and we don't get to spend a lot of time together. I wanted to get you something so you would remember our day at the aquarium," explained his grandfather.
He pulled the car over in front of a hair salon and pulled a plastic bag full of water out of the backpack he had been carrying. There was something in the bag.
"I got this for you," Jamie's grandfather smiled.
Jamie looked closer and it was a small, black sea urchin!
