Five Card Story: The terrible bird

There once was a terrible bird that keep eating everybody's sheep, cows and destroying houses. It lived inside a huge high tree where it would bring back all it prey back to eat.
But the towns people had had enough of this bird taking all their animals and having to repair their houses, so they got a dog to hunt it down and take this problem away.
While everybody stood behind the fence and watched the dog hunt it down, the dog had sniff out its hole in the tree where it lives and waited for it to come down. Soon the dog had got it, the bird was dead, now everybody was happy and could continue their lives without having to watch out for that terrible bird.
