Five Card Story: One Leaf's Journey

Average. Typical. Mundane. These were probably how most people would describe this leaf. However, when Edna found it on her daily afternoon walk, it instantly caught her attention.
"What kind of leaf is this?" she wondered. "Where did it come from?"
She took the leaf home and examined it very closely. She noted everything she could in her journal. It's size, shape, texture, pattern, etc.
She discovered it was from a far away land where things were green all the time and crisp, clean water flowed.
Then the leaf's world was turned upside down when a strong wind ripped it from its tree and carried it all the way to Edna's backyard.
Edna looked up to the heavens. "Thank you for this beautiful, exotic leaf."
