Five Card Story: The amazing flower

A poor man lived near a white street. He was always sad. One day, as he walked around that white, cold street and thinking what he would do to salvage himself from forever plunging into an abyss. Suddenly, he saw an amazing flower, with warming yellow pedals, by the shaded corner. The old man was no longer sad. Instead, this discovery aroused his great curiosity because nothing had ever been known to grow in this hopeless street. Unable to find the answer by himself. The old man went into the town to look for smart scientists to help him answer his questions. And so he did. The smart scientists were also very surprised to learn about that fantastic flower. They've never seen that kind of flower as well, let alone seeing it grow in "THAT" street. One of the scientists volunteered herself to research into the matter. Before long, she found out that the dirt did not have enough nutrient for the plant to grow, but she also found out that the street had lots of people pouring their unfinished wine onto the ground and that gave the flower the needed nutrient make its presence.
