about this story

Our community was young and sand covered the ground. Children played amongst the metal objects thrusting out of the ground. In an isolated area thousands of miles away, the mountains grew out of the ground and overcame the metal. Soaring high and reaching towards the sky. The plants began growing over the mountains, spreading, growing, creating forests, jungles, warm air, places for animals to grow and travel. At the edges of the forests the tall buildings, stood in stark contrast to the lushness beckoning on the edges. The cathedral filled with concrete and metal mocked nature.
Nature won.
