I promised my aunt that I would babysit her son after his birthday pary without thinking. I walked into the livingroom to find him playing with his toy trucks and dinousaurs. I watched him act out what seemed like a "what would happen if dinousars still lived" story. I watched the storm outside, as the kitten paced nervously in front of the open bay windows. Lightning flashed, and the lights flickered out. As I groped helplessly in the dark for a flashlight I heard my cousin crying. Finally finding what I was looking for, I pressed the button, flooding the room in light adn shadows, one particular shadow making my cousin cry harder and causing me to drop the flashlight. Regaining my composure, I shone the light on the figure casting such a fearsome shadow. The kitten stood scared stiff, like a petrified fern. I laughed as the lights turned back on and the kitten ran away to hide.
