Three friends walked ankle deep in snow, the icy wind battering against there already worn out faces. Their eyes grew tired of the white horizon dotted with tall domineering mountains. Their eyes were relieved of this site when they came across a gully filled with bright vibrant flowers of various colours and shapes. One orange flower protruded from the cold snow and contrasted beautifully with the landscape
Sadly the girls moved on as they had to make it back to camp of freeze on the desolate plateau. Finally after working through the bitter cold they reached the camp. They looked back on the landscape they had conquered a sense of pride filled them but also feeling sad, because tonight was there last night in the snow. They took in the sights for the last time, wich at first they hate but now had grown to respect as a haven of peace and senrity. The sky turned to a dark velvet dotted with stars , the last burst of sun receded behind the mountains this created a wonderful orange that mixed with the black, but slowly but surely the sky went black and lifeless. Though every now and then they a shooting star would stream across the sky, giving the slightest hope in the unrelenting dark.
The next day the girls said goodbye to the picturesque landscape that they had come to love over the weeks they had been there.
When they arrived back to the bustling city they were so sad to have left behind the tough, yet beautiful landscape. When they finally walked up their driveway they had a tear in there eyes
