Five Card Story: Chalk Monster

about this story
A dog and a chicken. The chicken lives on a road with trees. The dog lives in an ally-way with lots of people. The chickens name is Molly. The dogs name is Lola.
One day Molly was walking down her road when she noticed something. There was a chalk monster following her. She knew this was not good so she ran, she ran as fast as her little legs could carry her. She just kept running and running. Molly thought she had lost the monster but she was wrong. On the concrete looking meaner than ever was the chalk monster. Molly decided she would just have to keep running, so she did.
Meanwhile Lola was chewing on a stick in her ally-way when she noticed something. There was a chalk monster watching her. She knew that chalk monsters were bad so she ran, she ran as fast as she could without crashing into anyone. She kept running and running. Lola thought she had lost the monster but she was wrong. On the concrete looking scarier than ever was the chalk monster. Lola decided she would have to keep running, so she did.
Molly was so busy running she didn't realise that there was a dog running right towards her and before she could do anything there was a giant "Thud" and both animals fell to the ground. Lola started to say she was sorry for crashing into her but she was to busy running away from a chalk monster to notice, when she realised that Molly was saying the same thing. They stopped. They stared. Then Molly said,
"Hi my name is Molly, how do we get away from these chalk monsters?"
Out of breath Lola replied,"Hi my name is Lola and I've just had an idea"
Molly stared at Lola and exclaimed, "Well what's your idea?"
"I was thinking that because it is made from chalk it only can go on surfaces that you can put chalk on",exclaimed Lola.
"So it couldn't go on that grass over there?" asks Molly pointing to the grass.
"You've got it, let's go then, before the monsters catches us",Lola says as she starts running.
When Lola and Molly reach the grass they make sure the monster can't get them and, then they decide to stay there until the monster leaves. It doesn't take long for the monsters to leave because they get bored watching Molly and Lola play tag.
After the monsters leave Molly and Lola say good-bye to each other and start walking home.
