about this story

A young woman couldnt explain how she felt to anyone. She's had thoughts of suicide for 2 years now, but shes hiding it from everyone. From her boyfriend, from her family, and from her friends. She felt so alone in the world, and didnt know how to handle it. But one day, she was sitting alone in the woods and found something. It was a beautiful butterfly, wings blue, green, purple, and black. She had never seen anything so stunning! So she decided to go home and to try painting it. She ran as fast as her legs could take her and made her way home. She flung open the door and ran to her little art studio, picked up a paint brush, and started her masterpeice. She painted and painted and painted until it was finally finished. She didnt know who to give it to when she was done, she felt like someone should have it. So she ran to her church with her paitning. A little old man was sitting outside of the church, whistling a song to himself. "Sir!" she cried out. The old man stopped whistling and looked up at the woman. Before he could say anything she handed him the painting. "My my...", he said to himself, "This is wonderful." He looked up at the young woman with caring eyes, and smiled a chipped toothed smile, "Thank you." She smiled the widest smile she could muster. She hadnt smiled like that in a while. She decided after that, she'd take a walk again to see if she could find anymore butterflies just as beautiful as the one she found before. The young woman felt as if she was saved by that butterfly, and knows in anytime of need, she'll find it again.
