about this story

Turtle Tad lived on the groud of the rainforest. The forest was an exotic place to live. The rainforest would get inches of rain every day. Most of the time the forest floor would'nt get any sunlight. Many of the trees that grew were gigantic. Some flowers got lucky and bloomed into beautiful, pink tulips. Although, Turtle Tad was tired of living on the forest floor.
The beach was his true habitat. He wanted to see the clear tidal waves move back and forth peacefully on the sand. Turtle Tad escaped the forest floor. He traveled miles and miles. This was not easy for Turtle Tad. He had to aviod the predetors that were after him. Snakes and giant birds chased him off. They thought if he didn't want to live in the rainforest he shouldn't live at all. Turtle Tad was running out of time. The weather became breezy and he was growing old.
Once he reached the beach he could feel the light sand run through his flippers. Turtle Tad struggled a little bit, but he reached the waves. The waves were very heavy sometimes it would knock him down on his back. Turtle Tad got up one last time and swam into the ocean.
