about this story
The rain finished falling not so long ago as you creep out of your room. You stumble down the hall to the door. You pull the door open and march outside into the crisp air. You go over to your flower plant and pick a bunch of white hydraniums. You pull them up to your face, and get a whiff of their delicious scent. Skipping down the road you see the shadows grow long. You didnt relise how late it was, but you didnt mind. You walk down to the lake and you see a water turtle. Hes crawling around, ever so slowing. You peer down at him and smile. What a simple life he has, and how he must always be so ca--. Your thoughts are intrupted by a loud yowl. You spin around to see an orange tabby cat staring at you. "Good kitty", you say. "Do you want some food?" The cat jumps down from the rocks it was sitting on and saunters up to you. It rubs its face against your shin, purring like a motor. You pick up the fur ball and make your way home, smiling with your new companion.
