As I tried to concentrate on my reading assignment, my mind drifted for the umpteenth time to my Spring Break plans. Maybe I would go to a warm destination with a beautiful, deserted beach. I could just go to the airport, hop on a big plane and be there in a matter of hours. Or I could choose a destination with exotic baths and fountains. I closed my eyes and could imagine the relaxing, melodic sound of the water tumbling off the various levels. Maybe at night I could stroll by the homes of locals, who had festooned their houses with bright, festive lights. I snapped out of my reverie. Outside my window, even though it was mid-day, the fog clung tenaciously to the trees. I re-opened my textbook and continued reading.
