One day, when I was snorkeling off the coast of New Guinea, the sun was shining through the water in such a way that I saw things I had never seen before. A wire, like a noose, lay in the water attached to nothing. I thought maybe it was from a shipwreck, but no ship lay nearby. There was a green leaf growing near there that looked almost dry with sparkles of dew. I thought about my sister when we went to our house near the ocean. Outside in our yard, there were bushes and plants that were always touched by dew in the morning. We would start the day by collecting the dew and then playing all day in the ocean.
