Five Card Story: Exhausting

It started with fainting. I know that I should not be terrified of beetles. As a handsome and loyal dog, I should be willing to dive at a beetle crawling on my Mom's hand and eat it to protect her. But, I couldn't and fainted with the panic and fear and the miserableness of feeling like a complete and utter failure at being a dog. Of course, I had to run away at that point. I needed the soothing sound of the waves crashing on the shore, but we live far from the ocean. I stole the vespa only then realizing that I too was terrified of driving. Maybe it was hitting the pine tree at 40 mphs. Either way, I never did get to the beautiful beach with the historic and sort of saddish lighthouse. I only got to the end of the driveway where the tree greeted me. Now I am lying on a hard cold wood floor exhausted.
