Nightlife in the city: alive, energetic, beautiful, full of light,
a star shining in the midsummer's night.

A fountain gurgles it's bubbly delight in the twilight.

Daylife in the city: is as bustling, fussing, and lively
as a cluster of butterflies.

Splash! Jingle! Honk!

An old lady strolls by,
dragging bags along the market floor,
moaning, "My back is going to be the death of me."

Glaring, glittering, gleaming, glowing lights.
