about this story

The cat layed in the hard rubbish underneath himself, wondering, what is it that I shall do now? He slowly got up, stretching his paws, and reaching to the sun. With a big yawn, he wandered into the bushes. The scents of the flowers blossoming flourished in his nose, as his eyes scanned the surrounding area for food. His paws lightly pressed against the ground below him as he quietly walked through the brush. The wind blew upwind and he smelt the delicious scent of meat. He crept down into the ground, his eyes following every little sound or movement there was in his surroundings. He exhaled, relaxing his muscles, and becoming the wind flowing passed him. His eyes settled in a direction of which the scent was bringing him to, and he pranced forward. Until he came to a bird, sitting peacefully on a fence. He swore his mouth peaked in a start of a smile, as he placed his paw forward. The bird took flight, flying to a green field. The cat sped forward, catching up on the bird. The bird placed its beak to the ground, pecking into the dirt. The cat slowly crouched down, and moved forward until a good enough distance from the bird. Not knowingly, that it was about to be caught. The cat pounced, holding onto the bird with his claws as it tried to fly away to safety. His claws snagged into its feathers and flesh, and he placed its teeth to the bird's neck. He bit into its flesh, hearing a satisfying crunch as the bird went limp. The cat sat back, licking the feathers out of his claws, and licking his teeth of blood. He shook his body of the dust, leaves, and anything else he may have attracted from their little scrap. He carried the bird in his jaws, until he reached a prairie field. He sat down, feeling the sun warm up his fur. He settled down onto his paws, and began to feast.
