Five Card Story: A Day at the Farm

It was the beginning of summer vacation and Emily and her brothers finally arrived at the farm to see their grandmother. There was so much to do at the farm, and every day was exciting and led to a new adventure! Today was no different. To start off the day Emily woke up early and while she was waiting for her brothers to wake she decided to do a puzzle with grandma. Once everyone was finally awake the whole family went hiking to get some exercise and to enjoy the beautiful scenery the farm had to offer. By the end of the hike Grandma was tired so she headed back to the house to relax. She left the kids with one simple rule, which was "don't go in the water!". Bu even after hearing grandmas request Emily's oldest brother headed straight for the water and climbed to the top of a large rock. Emily begged him not to jump in, but he only teased her saying that she was to scared to go in. Even after she tried to stop her brother he jumped off the small cliff and plunged into the water. Emily ran back to the house to get her grandma because she feared her brother was hurt. When grandma heard the news she immediately rushed to the water. Luckily no one was hurt, but grandma still gave a strict warning to all of the children. After all of the excitement everyone headed back to the house just in time to watch the sunset. It was definitely a day to remember!
