It was such a wonderful night out with my husband. No kids, no loud noises...just us in this quaint little bar. The lighting was just right, the music was soothing, and there were wonderful spirits to choose from. After we left we felt that the harbor looked so beautiful by night so we decided to take a romantic stroll along the boardwalk. However, we must have been swept away by the warm feeling of the little bar because we totally forgot that it was rainy and cold outside. After all, this is Canada. I was so sad that our amazing date was ruined by the weather. All of a sudden I was reminded of why I married this man that was holding me close as we walked, as to keep me warm. He gently let go, walked over to the beautifully manicured garden, and picked the most sweet smelling rose. Big rain drops covered the petals and I smiled at the thought that rain is what makes life possible so how could I be mad a mother nature. I turned my frown upside down and enjoyed the rest of the evening with my husband...just the two of us for a little while longer.
