In the home state of the Bluebonnet, a Texas educator is working hard. He is stomping out ignorance and educating our students. He is an "old school" teacher and loves the lecture format of teaching that is teacher centered. As he is continuing his education by getting his MEd and his PhD, he learns to use technology in his classroom. He learns about webquests, blogs, using computers, smartphones, social media, and many other forms of technology. Like the plants and animals that he teaches about, he is evolving. He is changing and adapting to his environment. He is surviving in a classroom full of the digital generation. Now he is like the mushroom....a fungi (fun guy...lol).
