Everything is going wrong for 13-year-old Lena. Her Dad was killed fighting in war when she was 5, and then 8 and a half years later Lena's Mum dies from cancer. And it only gets worse until she is desperate, eating any left overs and waste she can find, making friends with birds, and keeping warm between the plants and under blankets of leaves. Lena is slowly finding out about the costs of living, and that almost nothing comes without a price. So sorry girl, you may not enter.
