A blue sky opened above them. A man and a woman were joined as husband and wife with blessings from a higher power given by the witness before them. The couple began their lives together like the words on the first page of a story. Hopes and dreams, plans and hard work lead to rewards, a dessert savored bite by bite. Their journey brought them a young pigtailed daughter who inherited their sense of wonder. She liked to play and have fun making something special. Though the process was sometimes perplexing, she continued on until she finished what she was making and felt the goodness inside. No matter how dark the climbed through life the family followed the light of each day.
