I was losing my mind trying to settle down to write the novel in me when a ghost appeared. I ran outside thinking that it was a man who had been murdered down the street. To my surprise, I came upon a beautiful path of lovely trees that reminded me of one of my first trips to Europe where this idea haunted me of putting into paper the adventures of my family crossing borders from North Africa to Mexico, to the US and to who knows where else. Will my story end up in a stuffy yet beautiful library somewhere?
