We all stared at her in awe, her blonde hair swaying from side to side, her skin sun-kissed and bright green eyes full of determination and no evident of fear in her petite body. We all thought that she was the one, the one to take us all out of this atrocious city. She would be the one to take us away from this prison like environment and take us somewhere where we are free and cared for. Anxiety and worry were the only felt. The moment we all waited for happened, she killed the king. We were free from these drab walls full of messages from people before us begging for a new life. The horrible king was gone, the one that had caused us all pain when their was any difference. I could finally grow out my raven black hair that was currently in a buzz cut like the others. I could get the clothes I saw in the magazines that we secretly read. Freedom, a thing people take for granted, something that everyone had and didn't give a second thought to. But for us, it meant everything, it was the first thing on out minds and the only thing we prayed for. Now, we finally had it, all thanks to the blonde girl with bright green eyes who had brought us the best gift we could have asked for.
