about this story

a cat (Daisy?) looks up from her nap. sees an old old old lady in black robes and a hole-y umbrella in the middle of the thunderstorm. climax is main character is following after a very young mother and her son who she suspects is being abused. followa them all over a country club while all the time never seeing their faces. finaly catches up to them in an old old old tunnel. shaking. the mother turns around and had the face of the old lady the cat saw. the boy has no face. then the tunnel caves.
