about this story
One of the worst moments of my life happened during the day which was supposed to be the happiest day of the year. My parents are busy people working in big company day and night. As a result, I am alone in my house with a maid almost everyday. And one faithful day, my fourth birthday, I hoped for my parents to spend it with me. However, as expected there was no one sitting at the dinning table to celebrate my birthday and give me gifts. Depressed, I went into my room with a teddy bear dangling in my hand, my only companion. I still had hope as it was only afternoon. However, hours flew past and the sun set; signaling the night of the day. I looked around but there was no one.... The maids had gone back to their home and i was left all alone with my teddy, the only present I had received from my parents...
