Have you ever been surprised for waking up knowing you are still alive?
Because I have.
Everything was desperately quite. The overwhelming silence buried me that even the tik tok sound could resurrect me. I feel so empty, I feel like every part of me was torn apart. I could not accept the truth. My husband died.
I looked out of the window and kept myself questioning: Is it storming outside or is it me storming inside?
I miss him, I miss every moment we had together.
I looked as our cat trots toward me. I recalled how he used to tell me to live like a cat - even-minded and satisfied in every situation.
The world seemed brighter, I started to realize that wherever he is, I know he is looking out for me.
