We were lost in the old streets of Rome. Rugged houses and empty streets drew a sense of loss and anxiety amid the nostalgic deteriouration that came over me. Then to our greatest surprise we came upon an extremely modern restaurant serving some most delicious food. The creation on my plate reminded me of the spring shoots in damp forests on a fresh springy morning in Spring - I used to go out for runs before the hasty treadmill of everyday life would drown me. And then those mature smells of wine cellars reflecting in the cork given to taste. We sniffed along all right and enjoyed our wine with coffee only to remember later the kids waiting at home for their lovely bath with Mommy and Daddy before they'd kiss goodnight.
