The morning began in startling blue. As I strolled past the cemetery my mood darkened for a short while. The farm left behind cheered me a bit so the energy was available to climb the steep hill ahead. I've always loved the old church I thought as it came into view. Hope it's always there. Winter clouded my mind as the realization dawned on me that it was freezing , and the wind was now howling like many wolves with a sinister intention.
